My name is "Coffee Girl" I have started this blog because my daughter said she really enjoys hers and if she can do it with her work then so can I. See, my daughter is in the 82nd Airborne and down range currently. We share some of the same passions, like arts & crafts. Her strongest talent is in drawing and my is in art journaling. We both crochet, make jewelry, she wants me to teach her how to do stain glass when she returns home.

I am not really sure how to do all of this but I will learn. The reason I am writing tonight is because I got a new toy today, it is the coolest thing. It is an impact driver. It is lightweight, it drives screws, will do anything I could want. I will put up a picture tomorrow. You know what this means, now I can build somethings without the help of my husband. He works and attends college so he is rather busy oh besides the fact he does side jobs. Needless to say he doesn't have time to fool around with my whims. He is a great carpenter when he can find the time. Realize I will only be doing small things the construction on the house is still up to him.
So some of the things I would like to make is a purse shelf for my purse and keys. attach a wood towel bar to the bathroom cabinet, build a shelf for over the bathroom sink, and shelves for my kitchen. Pretty ambitious for a newbie huh? Oh well dream big or don't dream at all right?
This blog will be kind of a cross between arts & crafts and a place for DIY people. There are so many creative talented people out in the world. I am the newest follower of the blog of the Nashville Pug http://nashvillepug.blogspot.com/ Beth is very talented and has great ideas for the home. She did a great desk for her crafts ssssh don't tell her I may steal her idea, just kidding. If I get her permission I will see if I can post a pic of her desk. Very talented and inspiring.
